  SY EDU-CAT
March 2012
This email is to thank you very much for your very professional response and an expert repair to the anchor roller on the bow of Edu-cat, our Lagoon 500 catamaran. Your quick response and the work carried out by your contractors was first class, especially given the time constraints. You said the repair would be carried out nine am today and at five minutes to nine your contractors were on the job! The anchor roller is now attached as it should have been in the first place! Most impressive indeed.
Thank you again. It was a real pleasure doing business with a real professional!

I write to thank you and your highly skilled team, for the superb refit carried out on Miquette. The new teak decks are superior to the original and I thought they could never  be matched. The hard top Bimini you designed and made is such a great improvement on the old one.
Too many other works to list, but I must thank your right hand David for his expertise and works on the rigging, mast, guard rails, and sheets. Also your Mr Soo, the highly skilled cabinet maker, who laid out the decks and interior upgrades. And thank you for recommending the excellent specialists and' accommodating them  during the refit.  Canvas Creations, C & C Marine, Octopus Electric-, Siam Cooling Systems, To-Toon Stainless, Mr Pae Upholstery.
Scott, you run a good team.

My best regards and thank you again,

Paul

  SY NIMBUS II

To whom it may concern.
My partner and I have a 55ft alloy mono hull, Nimbus II, which was 10 years old and due for painting. When we arrived in Phuket from Australia, we researched the work of many contractors for a period of 12 months, following the projects, seeing the finished products and speaking to the owners. We were impressed with the work from Precision Shipwright Services from the start and were never disappointed. Scott Bradley impressed us with his knowledge, attention to detail and pro-active approach. The staff were conscientious, hard-working and always welcoming The project came in on time (despite our adding some extras to the scope of works, as we went along) and on budget.

Precision Shipwright Services were perfect from start to finish.
I approached Scott to do a re-paint on an Azimut 82. I had the quote very promptly, the job was finished a month ahead of schedule and the quality of the work was exemplary.

I would say without hesitation that Precision Shipwright Services has been one of the best companies we have worked with in our 9 years of travel.  Every job we requested from them was done right, done on time, and done on budget.

Crystal Blues' Top tips for refitting in Phuket.
Precision Shipwright Services are a sister company of East Marine at Boat Lagoon. David Samuelson and his team provide skilled rigging services with a huge range of rope, wire, parts and spares on hand. David supplied our new Profurl genoa furled, new forestay and rigged our twin backstays. He tuned the rig and was always there wen we needed him, a rare gift among service trades in Thailand. None of this comes cheap, but its all well worth it.
I wouldn't trust this kind of work to anybody else.

  SY LA CARDINALA
June 2011
My first experience of working with Scott Bradley and his Precision team was in 2001 when I was cruising the world on 75ft sailing yacht La Cardinala.. Ever since, while cruising between Africa and Asia, Precision was my reference point as a high standard repair facility for quite reasonable prices.

La Cardinala is a fantastic sailing yacht and known for being at sea almost non-stop for many years cruising the Indian Ocean. Finally, these years of sailing started to show on the yacht and we really needed: a new teak deck, new rigging, re-paint job of the hull, deck and the mast, modification & repair work, interior refit work. mechanical engineering and many many jobs more.

We needed reliable work, that we can trust year round when we are at sea in sometimes remote destinations and challenging conditions. It was a big job to accomplish and I knew we had only 4 months to do it before the start of the summer season in Indonesia. That is why we chose for Precision, who I have known to deliver high quality work on time and in budget. Together, the Precision and the Cardinala team worked hard, of course there was way more work than originally foreseen and still we managed to get excellent results within the deadline stated. Now that the work is finished, I can honestly say: the yacht looks better than new!

It was a pleasure to work with Scott and his team: they are reliable, deliver high quality and above all very hard workers and welcoming people. I am happy with the work and can recommend Precision to any other yacht owner or captain.

Hi Scott,
Dusit took us out of Boat Lagoon at midnight with no problem. We are now at Ao Po doing the last few tasks before seeing our children at X-mas for a bit of local cruising.
Thanks for all your help. Samasan is looking great and best plenty of comments, especially for the paint work.
Best regards,

Chris Cotter

From a letter of recommendation:
… Precision Shipwright is great in getting anything done on your boat. Mr. Soo is the head carpenter and does incredible teak repairs and very very professional … He personally has been doing the work over 20 years. He repaired a Swan Warranty issues and can't even tell he ripped apart my bow.
The team of Scott Bradley did fantastic spray paint repairs, hull polishing, winch repairs etc.

  SY CALLISTO
2005
Callisto was not the only boat damaged during the tsunami nor were her damages the worst. Yacht repair facilities were heavily booked and hard-standing space was at a premium. The surveyor recommended by our insurance company was in Langkawi, Malaysia, where boaters faced a more harrowing and damaging time than did we in Galle. Luckily for us, Richard on the Mobile Maritime Net again came through and put us in touch with Jim Beck a surveyor/cruiser on the yacht Ptarmigan. Not only was Jim a great surveyor, he had spent 18 years in the area and knew who could do what and how well.

His advise was invaluable. Callisto's repairs were done by Scott Bradley at Precision Shipwright Services. He met his estimates in both time and cost and the work was excellent. We could not have been happier.
